Cali - Day 5

By Thursday were were all ready for a quite day.  The kids stayed in there jammies and played on there iPads while Tim and I went for a hike in the hills behind Don and Amy's house. Then, of course, we all got in the pool.

It was a hot day for a hike, but the view was absolutely worth it.  I'm happy to report that we did not see any rattlesnakes!

Cali - Day 4: California Adventure

Wednesday:  Disney's California Adventure was an absolute BLAST!  We rode lots of new rides and had a great time.  You can see lots of big smiles in these pictures!

Cali - Day 3: Disneyland

On Tuesday we headed down to Disneyland.  We were excited to get our annual dose of Disney Magic on the West Coast this year.  I'm sure we drove Amy crazy with the way we constantly compared Disneyland to Disney World, but we certainly had fun exploring the differences between the two parks.

Cali - Days 1 & 2

I'm returning to my long-neglected blog in order to share some pics from our recent trip to CA.  Thanks to Amy, Don and Quinn we had a fabulous trip.  They were such wonderful hosts!


We flew out on Sunday 6/29.  First order of business:  hit the pool!

On Monday, Amy and Quinn took us to Ventura Beach for our first look at the Pacific Ocean (well, Tim has seen it before but it was a first for Sullivan and I).

After lunch we went for a walk down the Ventura Pier.

Next we took a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu.
