Week 7: Feb 20 - Feb 26

On Thursday, Sullivan was ready to leave for school and I thought she looked so pretty that I made her stop so I could take her picture.  We're having such a mild winter - notice that she's heading out in just a jean jacket in the middle of February.  It sure is different than last winter when we were buried under a couple of feet of snow!
Here's my pretty girl:

On Sunday, we were working a cookie booth for the Girl Scouts.   No wonder they sold so many cookie - look how darn cute those girls are!

Week 6: Feb 13 - Feb 19

In an effort to make up for last week, I definitely took more pictures this week.
Tuesday was Valentine's Day, and Sullivan got flowers from her biggest fan (her Daddy).

And here's me trying to get fancy in Photoshop (really, I'm just trying to disguise her orange Dorito mouth).

Our garbage man (a.k.a. my dad) had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago, so going to the dump in Pap's Red Truck as become part of our regular Saturday routine.    Sullivan loves riding in the truck, and Tim and I have learned a lot about what can be recycled.

After the dump, Tim and I got all cleaned up and went to a Mardi Gras cocktail party at our friends the Fitzsimmons'.  We had way too much fun!  Sullivan took this picture of us before we headed out to the party.

Week 5: Feb 6 - Feb 12

I didn't take one single picture this week!  Something must be done about that!

Week 4: Jan 30 - Feb 5

Not a whole lot going on right now, which - to tell the truth - is really nice.  Sullivan is done with ice skating for now, and we haven't picked up an activity to replace it yet.  Work is really busy for both Tim and I right now, so a slower home life is very nice, especially after all the holiday rush.

We got a little dusting of snow on Saturday.  It wasn't much, but it was coming down in huge, beautiful flakes.  We all went out to catch snowflakes on our tongues.  We discovered how absolutely gorgeous the snow looked when you looked straight up and watched it come straight down at you.  Until you got a flake in the eye, that is!

On Sunday, Sullivan was dressed up for church and I thought she suddenly looked so grown-up. So, of course, I grabbed the camera.  She was happy to pose!
Notice that my living room is now decorated in the Early American Girl style.

The following pose was her idea.  I think she's going for the "busy professional" look.

And here's a close-up of my pretty girl:
